Walrus Audio Fathom

The Walrus Audio Fathom is a heavily modulated reverb pedal with a distinctive voicing.

I love Walrus stuff, the Slö is my all time favourite reverb and the Yvette Young Qi Etherealizer might just be my favourite pedal of all time.

The Fathom for me misses the mark.

The modulation on the reverb is so heavy that it makes this pedal pretty much a one trick pony. There’s so little variation and even on the minimum settings this thing is heavy salad.

If you want wobbly chorus drenched reverb with little else, get this.

Otherwise, there are far better options out there.
